Sabris Russia succeeded in finalizing stage one of the implementation of the DMS based on the OpenText platform in Power Machines
Power Machines OJSC in conjunction with Sabris Russia announced the successful completion of stage one of the implementation of the OpenText-based electronic document management system.
The Power Machines company organized a tender to find a supplier for a comprehensive document management system. Five companies submitted tenders. The winner was Sabris who offered an innovative and very efficient solution based on the OpenText platform.
The project is divided into several stages. The customer will be provided with a complete portfolio of services starting with the design, through to implementation and testing, and finally by making the system go live.
Stage one saw the implementation of the solution for the automatic processing of documents in several functional areas - human resources agenda, payroll processing, accounting for inventories, fixed assets and capital investment. For documents and data archiving a robust OpenText electronic archive was implemented. The processes of document digitization and data-mining together with document registration using barcode technology and integration with electronic mail were configured.
One of the main advantages of the implemented solution is that users work in one system interface which is Power Machines corporate standard. Users can access documents easily and quickly regardless of any geographical limitations.
The expected number of users of the electronic documentation management system in Power Machines, within the framework of further developments, will exceed 1,500 employees. Over 50,000 documents per month alone are processed in the area of inventory records.
